Added in the Sniper vs Spy Update , it is one of the three songs featured in Meet the Spy , as well as being one of 32 main menu startup themes. It is the third track to be added via patch subsequent to the game's release. Spy Composer: Mike Morasky. The track starts with suspended, frozen strings, fading in with an eerie piano arpeggio. It outlines a Cm to Eb Major progression, which is mirrored by both brass and legato stabs from the strings section. Building tension, part of the strings section acts as a riser, moving chromatically upwards as the song progresses in intensity. The tension is heightened further as the instrumentation moves further up in pitch, taking a trip up to Fm and G before crashing back down dramatically onto Cm. This is repeated with greater emphasis on the strings melody, which cries out in a higher pitch than anything around it. This section acts as the climax of the song, and comes to represent it at its core; even at its highest point, the track is filled with tension, created for the sole purpose of capturing the Spy's mystique.
The Spy is an class in TF2. He uses his skills to kill high value targets such as Heavies and to sap Engineer's buildings to clear a path. The Spy focuses on specific targets. Given the "hit-and-run" playstyle that the Spy encourages, you'll often find yourself alone, behind enemy lines. As such, don't expect to get much help from the other team members. As a Spy, you will mostly kill targets that barely move Sniper , piss off targets that build things or eliminate high risk enemies, like the Medic and their patients. A master of espionage, several forms of unarmed combat and sleeping with seductive women, the Spy always completes his mission, and looks incredibly stylish while doing so. Speaks with a Franco-Spanish accent. But it is too late.
